Ladysmith Dental Care Outside of the Clinic
We know that there can be so many barriers to booking a dental health appointment in Ladysmith, BC, from financial constraints to physical accessibility, and so much more. This is why we’ve made it our mission to take our services on the road to bring dental health to those who may not be able to come see us at our dental office. We travel to Penelakut Island to provide dental checkups, exceptional care and educational resources to promote healthy practices in this important communities. Additionally, we’re proud to be a part of helping to provide health services to individuals in our local correctional centre while they work towards being able to re-integrate into our community once again. To us, an integral part of our All Smiles Welcome™ mission is to support members of our community who need access to dental care services the most.

Ladysmith Children’s Dental Care
At our Ladysmith, BC dental office, we go to great lengths to make sure our youngest patients have a positive experience when they come see us for a checkup. We know that these earliest experiences at the dentist set kids up for a lifetime of healthy habits that ensure their dental health, which contributes to improved overall health. Plus, this is a perfect opportunity to get ahead of dental anxiety before it has a chance to build! But we don’t just aim to build positive foundations at our office–we also love getting out into our community to interact with kids at school, clubs, and fun fairs. Our Ladysmith Smiles team regularly visits schools and after-school and weekend activities to share our love of taking care of our teeth, so our youngest community members can start building some of those habits too. We love collaborating with other community organizations that are just as passionate about creating a healthier Ladysmith as we are, and you’ll often find us partnering with wonderful facilities like Ladysmith Boys and Girls Club, LaFF, the Vancouver Island Regional Library, our local primary schools and so many more. We share stories, play games and activities, and chat with kids about brushing their teeth, all with the goal to prove that going to the dentist doesn’t have to be scary; in fact, they might even look forward to it!

Ladysmith Community Support
We love our local sports teams, and so many budding athletes come to see us to get fitted for mouthguards so they can keep playing the sports they love while caring for their smiles! It makes us smile so wide to get to be a part of these healthy activities that get our kids socializing, exercising, and learning what it means to be an important part of the team.
