Ladysmith Smiles Patients, 

The last two years have thrown us all for a loop, but I think one thing we can take out of these difficult times is a new perspective on health—and the importance of the health of your loved ones.

Over the last two months you may have noticed my absences from Ladysmith Smiles, some of which have been extremely last-minute and unexpected.

As you may or may not know, I have recently taken over this practice and absolutely love my work as both a business owner and dentist, but most importantly I love my role as a mom to two, beautiful kids under the age of five.

When my two-year-old son fell ill and ended up hospitalized, there was no question where I needed to be. I do, however, understand this has caused some confusion in the office and unexpected delays for my patients, and for that, I apologize.

I am so grateful for my incredible team at Ladysmith Smiles and my peers who have stepped up to help serve our community in my absence. I hope my transparency will help ensure you of my dedication to this practice despite the current circumstances.

As I make my way back to normality, I want to personally thank you for your continued patience and support. I look forward to seeing and getting to know all of you as I return to the office.
